Digest email size/frequency

With the recent changes to the way that the Alpines Digest is being
formatted, I now get a single huge (65KB) email every 5 or 6 days on
average. Personally, I would find it more convenient and easier to follow
discussions etc. if I received smaller digest emails (say up to 20KB) more
frequently.
Do any other Alpines Digest subscribers have a view on this?
