The rear deck panel was the first area I had to have touched up =
after I bought the car back in 1989. My top actually seemed to seal =
pretty well especially around the windows. It definitely stiffened the =
car up =E2=80=93 less scuttle shake, less twisting over bumps. But =
it=E2=80=99s a convertible=E2=80=A6 that=E2=80=99s why the hardtop =
hasn=E2=80=99t been on the car in over 31 years.

One of the ways your TR6 will be transformed is the potential for =
scratches on the rear deck panel from the hard top riding on that rear =
panel. I quickly got rid of my hardtop because of that problem. You can =
try to protect the paint will a barrier of sorts but then the hardtop =
won't seal properly. The hardtop does make the TR6 look like a cool GT =
car but it is a semi permanent with pluses and minuses and the rear deck =
may suffer.

I=E2=80=99ve not seen any for sale recently except for those crappy =
fiberglass ones (Parrish? $450 - $700) but=20
he=E2=80=99s not interested in one of those. I understand that condition =

he=E2=80=99s looking for a ballpark figure. Thanks.
