Call me a luddite, but I still run stock size tires on steel wheels. Not
relines, no innertubes, you know, modern tires. I run 30 psi all around.
No understeer, and just enough oversteer to show off.

YMMV

Hello list;

Been pretty quiet these past few days.....

I know: Everyone must be on the Forum.

Anyway, here's a pretty basic question but I have just been too curious
to let it go.

I know many of us ride on different sizes and many different brands of
tires.
Only a relatively small percentage, I would guess, still ride on stock
dimensioned/
redline-type tires. When inflating tires, are we really to follow
Triumph directions:
20 lbs. in the fronts, 24 in the rears? Will our more modern tires
perform as well
as they should with just 20 lbs. in them?

Cheers,

Dave Friedlander
