[6pack] Engine bearings

Hi motorheads,
 
 Anyone have engine bearings OTHER than Vandervell triple layers that  have
 
held together after real work ? My mill is worn , but I will stay with the  
triples
 
if the Glaciers or whatever are crap...  Thanks.
