What is the length of the 3/8 NF studs that are the inner connection for the
lower a arms to spring pan?

Someone used short bolts and lock nuts for this
on my passenger side, while the drivers has the normal studs. Seems like the
studs might be easier to use. Finicky to get the holes aligned to start the
bolt. Using a spring compressor I made up with 3/4 grade 8 threaded rod and
larger washers and bolts. Compressor seems to work okay.

After connecting
spring pan to a arms and attaching sway bar bracket, I presume I will: 1)
connect vertical link to ball joint with the 2 long 3/8 bolts, and 2) conect
the trunnion to A arms with the big bolt and the numerous bits.

I take the
spring compressor out after that and install shocks and attach sway bar.

I
just have the one side apart to do some welding to repair frame damage around
the fulcrum pin. Inner fender also had to be repaired. Passenger side took
a hit during a previous life, stresses took years to finally work through.
Hopefully the alignment shop can now do a better alignment for me.

thank
you,

Bruce Simms
