        Folks:

        Here is what my LBC mechanic sez. He is also a licensed used car dealer 
(all
British, of course) so he routinely sells cars and I think has a good sense of
the market:

   > A nice clean hard top is probably worth $500-600 with or with out the
car.
   > I have seen cars sell with
   > hard tops for up to $1000 more then cars with out however.
