  Jim,
No first hand experience, but a buddy was rebuilding his Spitfire seats. He
assumed foam was foam and went with the cheaper VB kit. When he started
tearing his seats down and saw what the original foam was suppose to be like,
he was disappointed with his decision. It was too much money to go back and
change, but he could see from the pictures that the TRF kits were exact as
original . He had to do much cuting, shaving, and shaping to get them looking
right. He was not buying seat cover kits, just the new foam.

Hope that helps in your decision.

  Sloane :)
69-Six, which by the way has 70-72 seats.
