This is exactly how mine are adjusted and they work fine. I think it's
about .25" difference in float adjustment. I don't understand what
difference it makes. I've yet to see it explained anywhere successfully. I
don't think the Carbs care about some extra headspace in the Bowls if the
same level is maintained relative to the jet.
