[6pack] Lobotomizing the steering lock on later model TR6's

I have always found the steering lock somewhat pointless and irritating
especially when I need to do something that needs the wheels turned in a
particular way and I have to go back in the house to get a key etc.

I was wondering if there was a clean way to remove the column lock pin or if
the best route is to just cut it off ?
