That units fits the TR6 well. It installs easily (in seconds) and is short
enough that you can move it forward or further back depending on your
preference. I found if I had it too far forward I kept banging my elbow when
changing gear so I have it pushed back and I enhanced it with a cup holder,
power outlets and a satellite radio receiver.

I have one outlet permanently hot, the other is switched from the ignition.
The seats are Miata in case anyone is confused.


I have since read that the center console from a mid 90's Camry will fit once
you cut the front section off which also yields a nice slim metal two-cup
cupholder that could be installed under the passenger dash. I bought one on
eBay for under $20 although I haven't had a chance to mess with it due to
other projects but it also looks like it will fit.
