If anyone considers an old trans a boat anchor, they will change there minds 
when they need any of the internal (or external) parts, which are very 
expensive or unavailable new. Try pricing an imput shaft&constant gear. The sum 
of 
the parts is much greater than the whole as far as the value of the trans. 
Don't 
throw it away, like land, they ain't making any more.
