[6pack] Removing Distributor Shaft

Bentley says to "tap" out the pin holding the distributor shaft to the drive
dog.   Well I've been "tapping" with a hammer and punch then switched to a
2# sledge and I can not move that pin.   Moss calls this a roll pin, but
mine definitely seems to be a solid pin.   I also tried to press this out
using a roll pin and a vice with no success.   Am I missing something or do
I just need to increase the "tapping" to something more like bludgeoning.
