Thanks guys for the help. I removed the valve and adapter then applied the
teflon tape and connected everything back. Now had an excuse to take a "test
drive" on a beautiful day here in Conroe, Texass. Took a long drive around the
lake and the car performed beautifully. I don't know how I drove for so long
without the new OD. Problem solved--no leak. Steve Kirsis. CF52092UO.
