Pressure washing is not completely a bad idea, but no where as effective as
abrasive blasting. I used a 2750psi 4HP pressure washer on my TR6 frame with
mild results. Basically, while the surface dirt and some grease will be
removed, in order to truly strip the frame down more aggressive means are
required. Some will use a blaster, others an abrasive wired wheel, even a
hand-held brush and scraper.

Other idea, rather than water pressure is simply air pressure. If you have a
compressor, this means should adequately address removing any sand and
debris within the chassis.
