I have replaced my choke cable and not matter how hard I try, I can not comprehend what the Haynes and Bentley manuals are telling me regarding the correct position and setting for the idle stop and so on. I understand that a spacer is required but the text/illustrations are not clear (to me). Is there a simple process to follow that does not warrant major adjusting/synchronizing? Much appreciated.
