The ferrule that works with the nut is not a normal compression ferrule -
there's a "shoulder" on it that makes the ferrule go into the fuel pump
housing a tad more.e

I was able to source the ferrule at a NAPA a long time ago. So that would
be a good place to start.

If you use a standard compression ferrule, it WILL leak.
