Bud:
The correct coating is something called Schutz (Shutz?) and it
is a 3M product.
I used rubberized urethane truck bed liner, the kind with the
little rubber chunks mixed in for traction. I painted it on with a
brush, two coats covered nicely. I used it for the undercoating of the
fenders as well. So far it is as tough as nails, and a whole lot lighter
than the original stuff. I pity the poor joker who tries to get it off
for the next rebuild, although I am guessing an angle grinder with a
twisted wire brush would probably do the job.
BTW, 1 gallon did the whole car, fenders, sills, etc.

Subject: TR6 Sill Coating/Paint?
BlankList,
What coating or paint have people used on TR6 outer sills?
I've used rubberized undercoating spray to touch them up but thought I'd
see
what one is supposed to use. I have a spray can of some SEM rubberized
undercoating that I may use..anyone ever used it?
Thanks
Bud Rolofson
