Hello list, I have a Lucas 15 AC Alternator on my TR250, with an external 4 wire regulator. The bearings were growling and I purchased a rebuilt Lucas 15ACR Alternator ( 5 terminal) to replace it. Has anyone done this conversion? The Dan Masters book describes a conversion to a GM alternator where the NR and NG wires are spliced together, and the NY wires are spliced together, by passing the external regulator. Any thoughts?
