I had the same problem a few years ago, and went back to the lever shocks. But I wouldn't attribute it just to the conversion. If you take a look at the spot welds and the thickness of the metal; and the age of the metal; could be it was going to happen sooner or latter even with the lever shocks. I ended up having the whole cross member arch closed in and heavier steel at the welding mounting points. al salvatore pics at www.triumphowners.com/624 |
