Not an expert, don't take as such. Easy to just delete a post in hopes
someone smarter will reply.
But, I recall a black wire with O-connector that looks like it should be
connected with any of the 4 nuts that mount the speedo/tach. However, don't
all the bulbs just get ground from the back of the guage? Have you tried
bypassing the rheostat?
