Stan---The adjustment is there to set the ride height and the rear wheel
camber. (Within the limits of the adjustment, of course) You get to
choose this wheel camber and ride height.
To get the suspension to settle, you'll want to take the car off the
stands and roll the car about 10 feet or so. The bolts can be snugged up
before you roll the tires.

Unless you suspect that the rear wheels were not aligned before you
exchanged the stock brackets for the adjustable ones, this alignment
should not have changed if you put the same packet of shims back in. If
it has, or you just want assurance of this, tell the alignment shop that
these brackets have shims between the brackets and the frame arms. They
should know what to do from there. Also tell them that the wheel base
should be maintained at 88 inches.

.... The instructions that came with the brackets didn't include any
pictures so I hope it will be obvious on the day what it means to adjust
the fulcrum bolt to the same height as the original bracket..
I did have a couple of questions...
1. Is it necessary to put the car back on the ground before
finally tightening all the bolts or is that something that Is unique to
rubber bushes ?
2. Once you have it all back together, where do you go to
get the back end aligned and what info do you give them about the
operation of the brackets.
Thanks..
