I too have been considering this. Does anyone have suggestions on how to
re-connect the PCV hose that goes to the stock filter housing?

THANKS Jay!

i found this one:
http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=56-1620<about:blank>
i guess i need to either bolt this on using the original airfilter bolts and
this will be similar to the
way originally designed???
is that correct? but this looks like the right one, and not too wide as i
have heard some folks
having trouble with filters being too wide, but maybe that is for fitting
inside the stock canister.

although, one thing i liked about the beehive foam filters is that they
could easily be removed for various reasons. they had a base plate that was
mounted and not removed from the carb.

well, i think the K&N filters will be better,...right?
any opinions?

james
