Thanks everyone for all the ideas. Replacing the 20W-50 oil with 5W-30 in the dashpots improved the driveability of the car a bit. It didn't help at all with keeping the engine running, but overall I like the performance better with the thinner oil. I've received a lot of ideas for what to look at next. I think my next step will be to look at the temperature compensators and to make sure the fuel tank vent lines are venting correctly. Thanks for everyone's input! Steven |
