The sticker on the car is for a stock, smogged, TR6 and is not the 
optimum setting for your modified TR6.  You did not say whether the 
vacuum  retard is hooked up.  That "sticker" setting assumes that it 
is.  If I were you, I would , as a starting point, disconnect the vacuum 
retard (plug the connection on the carb) and use the specs for the PI 
version of the TR6.
