Richard:
I would think that the caveats regarding the TR6 engine would
apply, but not much else.
Thrust bearing wear
Compression check
Distributor wobble / vacuum pot check
etc
As for the rest of the car, a Spitfire list would be a better
choice. The GT6 is more closely related to the Spit. Rust prone areas,
suspension issues, clutch wear, etc would be very close to the issues
associated with the Spit.
Heck, if I am not mistaken the drive train is right out of the Spitfire,
as are many of the stampings.
