Good morning.
In previous postings I describe my problem with a J-type overdrive not
disengaging.
Over the weekend I drained the trans fluid and cleaned the sump
screen--some filings were evident but things didn't appear too bad.
However, I couldn't get the solenoid off. Access is a bit of an issue,
but I can get a wrench on it and apply what I think should be adequate
force.
Any suggestions for removing the overdrive solenoid? I really want to
do this with the trans in the car, but I don't want to get too violent
with it either.
