I ordered a whole new wiring harness for my "A" overdrive, including chassis
harness, tranny harness, backup light harness, and relay. But, when I look
under the hood where the new relay goes, there are no unattached wires!
This in not addressed in Dan Masters' book. Can someone with more expertise
than I (that would be your corner wino, or anyone else for that
matter) 'splain me how to tap into the right wires to get the O/D unit hooked
up? P.O. did not use a relay, and used American 35 amp fuses. As you can
imagine, that let a lot of smoke out of the wires, which is why I rewired it
last year.... All but the O/D, I decided to wait. But now, the waiting is
over.
