John:
Don't know if you are using a new glove box, or an old one, etc.
When I installed my new glove box (the generic cardboard one you
see on eBay, etc)
I found that I needed to remove the hose from the heater box to the
"splitter" on the
passenger side. Once I had the glove box in I could reconnect the hose.
It does take some patience and gentle persuasion to fit a new
glove box. Frankly,
it is easiest to attach it to the sheet metal dash backing and then
installing the dash and
glove box together.

Subject: Glove Box Installation
Well, I installed the rebushed steering column, reinstalled the heater
box,
hooked up the two goofy little spaghetti hoses, and got the new harness
in
place. Everything was going great until I tried to re-install the
cardboard
glove box. I disconnected the foot well air vent to move it out of the
way
to get some additional room, but I could not get the box up behind the
dash
panel. Please don't tell me I should have put it in before I installed
the
heater box. Anyone have any tips and / or insight? Thanks in advance
for
your help.
Thank you,
John Zimmerman
