Kevin--When I R&R'd my head and manifolds, I used copper gasket spray (available at Advance or AutoZone) on them on the reinstall. This even though my head gasket had some sort of treatment on it already. Apply several coats to build it up a bit, and let dry thorougly (at least a week). No problems after 12K miles with a 9.5CR motor. Rick O. 72 TR6 |
