Hey Sean,

This reply is a bit late -- but better late than never right?

I think I spent $600-$700 on my hardtop (purchased locally) The metal was in
good shape, it's white paint was shot. All the glass was good. A couple of
chrome pieces were missing. Between the big three I was able to get all the
chrome bits and hardware that I needed. I did all the paint work myself but
materials were still a couple hundred. The installation of the headliner that I
ordered from TRF I should have outsourced to someone who knows how to pull
fabric around - turned out acceptable but barely. All in all I probably have
$1200 minimum into the hardtop and I did ALL of the work myself... so if you're
going to pay someone else to do the work it will obviously be more. You can see
a not so good picture of it on my car here:

got to sleep in!)

I really enjoy the looks of the TR6 with a matching color hardtop. Plus people
who are performance minded say it really helps stiffen up the car for what ever
that is worth.

Good luck!
