Here is what MArty Sukey sent me regarding his install of a <Allory dule
point distributor:
Hi Chuck. I took the dog off of my old distributor. I looked at how it
would sit in the vehicle and made a mark on the housing where I wanted the
rotor to point at #1. I then took my original distributor, turned the rotor
so it was pointing at #1 and looked at how the dog was orientated on the
shaft. I then took the Mallory, pointed the rotor to the mark I made on the
housing for #1, turned the dog to the same position I saw on my stock unit
and marked it there. Then I put it up on the vertical mill and drilled a
hole down through the dog and shaft. A
