Hello List,
My differential leaks badly, and I would like to take care of this issue. I'm
looking for some input from others who are in the know. The car is a 74.5
(CF27516) and has about 85,000 miles on it.
- Does it probably has the crush spacer instead of the old style shims?
- To get the seals replaced does it make sense to have the bearings replaced
and all tolerances checked at the same time? I don't think there are any other
problems right now...
- What is this going to cost me for a full rebuild?
- Anyone know of a good place to have this done anywhere in Southern
California? I guess there is also Quantumechanics, any other places I should
check with?
