Thanks for the input. I'll check to see if the clutch is fully disengaging.
I think it may be because I get no grind when going into reverse. Also, if
it was the clutch, I would expect hard shifting in all gears, not just
second.
Vance, on the Spitfire speedo pinion gear; I assume you are talking about
using the speedo pinion gear from a J-Type equipped Spitfire?
