TR6 chassis

Listers,
I am beginnig the winter project season and would like to verify my chassis
integrity.  If I support the car on stands at the front suspension and at
the differential bridge, should the frame be straight?  If I construct a
level line from the front ot rear, should the frame rails all measure the
same?  I hope to determine where the frame condition scores before deciding
on panel replacement etc.
