Robert:
This is not normal, and probably means that your oil pressure
switch is mis-wired. You probably have your oil warning light wired
across the terminals meant for the anti-runon valve. The anti-runon
terminals are designed to stay closed for a few seconds after the
ignition is turned off. This also means that your anti-runon valve is
inoperative, and may well be the source of your unexplained current
draw.
Consult the wiring diagram in your owner's handbook.
Cheers,
Vance

Subject: Oil pressure light 76 TR-6
Just a quick question,,, I noticed last week when I went to the hangar
and
moved the car that after I turned of the ignition and removed the key
the
oil pressure light stayed lit for a couple of seconds longer is this
normal... I'm wondering if this has something to do with my 10 milliamp
currant draw when everything is suppose to be off..... Bob TR-6
