Hi Bob!
The metal piece at the end of the purple wire is a bullet type connector
and will pull out of the plunger switch. Don't pull on the wire, pull on
the metal "male" piece to which the wire connects.

I'm stumped. Is it possible to remove the wiring portion of the glove
box spring loaded light plunger thing-a-majig? I can't figure it out. Is
it all soldered together and must be disconnected downstream with a
bullet connector or something?
