Chip---You have good reason to believe your sticky clutch syndrome is
fixed, but I don't blame you if you're crossing your fingers!
(Sometimes just the new lubrication on sticky parts will temporarily
relieve the problem)
The hydraulic pressures for disengaging the clutch are always high
enough, but of course it is left up to the spring pressures of the cover
plate to push all of the linkage back. High resistance to return
movement at the cross shaft bushings, or on the front cover will let the
clutch pedal return, without the corresponding motion between clutch
disc and pressure plate.  I've found the closer fit between the front
cover and the ID of the carrier sleeve to work better. (No cocking) A
nice chamfer on the lead end of the sleeve as the clutch engages is a
big plus also. As is the bronze carrier, other things being equal.  I
think TRF Dave may be slowly changing his mind about the "extra"
clearance he at one time recommended.
