Spark Plug Gap Verification

I'm getting my carbs back from Apple Hydraulics tomorrow and want to verify
my ignition system is ready prior to starting. Was it decided that .025 is
the proper gap?  I have a new lucas Sport coil if that matters.  I think the
manual says .035. basically I have it set to whatever the manual says.
