I have Rick's eliminator kit and can vouch that it is a well-made piece.
And yes, chit chatting with Rick is a distinct pleasure.

For those wanting to retain their mechanical fan, I've seen at least 2
vendors on ebaY who offer billet aluminum fan extensions.  Now if someone
would just fab a damper pulley . . .
