Adam,
Remove the three bolts that hold the windsheild in place in front, from the top
of the glass, the Bently book shows this, and you'll notice the pins that go
into the side brackets will be glued in, so you may need a rubber mallet for
pounding the pins up in the side brackets.
The crash pads are held in by hex nuts from the back of the metal dash panel,
crawl under the dash, backwards facing up, and get used to doing this, you'll
be doing it quite often. (BTW-No glue nessissary).
Your asking some questions that are detailed in the Bently, Haynes, Chilton and
other restoration books, If you are attempting any restoration work, you should
spend some money first on the Bently book. IMHO
