Joe, Et All:

I'm sooo glad I got my fenders from e-bay. It was worth the extra
shipping cost. I too ordered them from TRF in October, telling me they
would be in by Christmas. If I had said OK, my restoration would have
come to a screeching halt. I am truly sorry for the guys out there
waiting for these items, I know it hurts.

So far TRF has given be more heartburn then a double pepperoni pizza!!

I usually source most if not all stuff from somewhere else now; this is
my last year as a member of the "TRF Car Club". Here is my latest issue
with them. I have a dash, driveshaft (ABS) cover, and believe it or not,
the hardware securing the trunk panels that I received last month. I
finally cancelled the dash, when I found they published in the new
mailing, a list of 10 of them (dashes) for my specific year, along with
other backordered overstocks that they say they have no idea when they
will get them in.

Thats right, the dash, tunnel cover, hardware for the rear trunk panels
were all listed (everything on my backorder) in the new catalog saying
they were overstocked.

And why tell people they will get there fenders by Christmas, when you
know they would be re-tooling the plant in England? It looks like they
thought they could get around the exchange rate by delaying the purchase
from England.

BTW- today I received the seat foam assembly I cancelled in February
when they said they were out of stock. I then got the foams from BPNW.
It's just that TRF has become so clueless when it comes to customer
satisfaction.

So tomorrow I call TRF again and send back the foam, make sure they
don't send me a dash I already got from MOSS (the next day thank you),
and cancel for the 2nd time the tunnel cover. I'll keep the trunk
hardware on the "backorder" list, because I want to go down in the
restoration books as waiting the longest for hex nuts from TRF.

Signed, Another unsatisfied TRF customer,

Gene,
