Hi all,

On the subject of quality breaker points, I have used Standard motor
products "Blue Streak" ignition parts for years & can say they are top
quality. The Blue Streak X series are the High Performance line of
products. They still make a line of ignition parts for TR's & many other
british cars. The points are made with a copper plated base plate,
larger point contacts that are vented and a lube wick to keep the cam
lobe lubricated and the rubbing block in good shape. The part # for the
points is LU1617XP. They used to make a X line cap made with copper
posts and ignition wire sockets but dropped it from the line. There
products are top quality. http://www.smpcorp.com/
