I concur. Under the black paint is bright metal, not chrome. I opted to replace the black bezels on my '70 with chrome from Nisonger (sp) in NY. They are a bit heavier in appearance than the later TR6 bezels. What I got from them looks more like those on my TR4. FWIW, I like the look, and I haven't been blinded by the glare yet. Joe Davis |
