Mike - On my 74 all I had to remove was the shifter/ball assembly on top of
cover. I would beg/borrow/steal a tilting chain as it will make shoe-horning
the eng/trans in/out MUCH easier regardless of the help on hand. I removed
and reinstalled mine all by myself and it was quite easy using the tilter on
my lift. Eastwood Auto sells the one I used at
http://www.eastwoodco.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=46079&I1.x=48&I1.y=55has for
$59.00.......
