You are correct. That thing used to be a rubber O ring. You can try TRF or Victoria British for replacement or (as I did when I did mine last winter) simply fashion a bead of blue Permatex inside the ring as a seal. Since it doesn't show it's an easy fix. I found that some of the O rings supplied by the big three seem to be too large to fit inside the ring itself. Micky Long, Atlanta 72 TR 6 |
