Hello List,

I just measured the crankshaft end play 0.015 inches on an engine with 200,000
miles.
Is this consistant with the normal wear of the thrust washer? Also, does one
remove
the flywheel to replace the pilot bushing? I think there may be a lip
preventing the pilot
bushing from being removed to the transmission side.

The flywheel is glazed over where the clutch disk contacts the flywheel. Does
one rough
up the glazed area with coarse sandpaper with sanding block or have the
flywheel turned?

Thanks for the help,

Greg Perry
