I've installed "freeway blasters" on both my TR6 (american coiled style) and
TR8 (euro flat style). They look right, have the about the right tone, and
are wicked loud.
Best news: they are available at your local Pep Boys for about 10.99 a piece
(need one high and one low tome), much less than repro Lucas horns.

Subject: wimpy horns
The horns on my car sound very weak & I imagine they are likely orginal. I
would feel safer if it had much louder horns. Has anyone had luck trying
GM/Ford horns? The horns on my 97 F150 Ford PU are loud enough to have served
a air raid sirens during the Battle of Britain! Would I be tempting fate by
using these on my '6?
