Hi list,
Like Gary mentioned a few days ago, there was a poor showing of TR's in
general at Lime Rock Park this past holiday weekend. At times parking lots at
these
venues can be a show in themselves, but Triumphs were very rare. The concours
on Sunday had one very nice example, a TR6 that took first in class I
believe. I remember a few years ago Triumphs were a common site as race cars
with the
whole range well represented. This year, NOT ONE RACING TRIUMPH ! Although
the weather forecast was not promissing I drove up anyway, we camped, drove the
countryside, checked the swapmeet (poorer every year), and met new people who
share my hobby. Gary, it was nice meeting you, and hope to see you there next
year. BTW Rain x works wonder when you don't have wiper blades !
