I've been doing some research on this subject. From what I can tell,
getting the correct fuel pump is critical. I am planning to run the
original Zenith Stromberg carbs, but from what I have read, if there is too
much pressure the carbs won't perform properly.
Has anyone changed over to electric pumps? If so, have you ran a separate
fuel pressure regulator in order to dial in the right pressure? Which kind?
