Hi List:
In my previous post the wisdom of the list dictated that to replace the seal
between the transmission and rear transmission housing I would have to take the
tranny out. In preparation for that, I ordered a new seal from TRF. What came
is a gasket that is less than a standard sheet of paper thick. I have never
seen a gasket so thin. Is this standard? When this gasket is replaced, is
there a compound that is used to seal the gasket also?
